My name is Pauli Varonen. I am an visual artist, I make paintings with oil and watercolor. My subjects are usually nature oriented landscapes of forests and meadows, and persons in dialogue with this setting. I think night holds many secrets, so I tend to do nightly paintings often. My inspiration comes from everyday happenings, long walks and personal experiences.

New paintings online. This time paintings are from years 2022-2023. Theme is highly personal in terms of content. We see delicate flying, but also summonings and states of mind. We touch the essence, the void, aware of the inevitable end.
